Watch the webcast recording from APC's May 1st event, Community Health Matters in the Journey to Self-Reliance, put on in collaboration with the Maternal Health Initiative at the Wilson Center. The event included 6 TED style talks from grantees and staff in Kenya, Uganda, Liberia, Haiti, Laos, and Benin. Followed by two panel discussions entitled Promoting Family Planning and the Power of Partnerships and Advancing Local Solutions for Lasting Impact. The event highlighted and included reflection on how collaborations with nongovernmental organizations, faith-based communities, government and private sector partners, and local communities improved the delivery of critical health services, lessons learned, and the next steps.
