Uganda

Presentation

This presentation provides an overview of the development, effectiveness, and challenges faced by the Uganda Child Spacing Program while implementing referral systems.

Brief

This brief outlines how FHI360, USAID, and Progress in Family Planning have been working to increase access to and use of family planning in general and CBA2I in particular in Uganda.

Fact Sheet

This fact sheet discusses the Uganda Child Spacing Program which educates women about family planning options and increases access to FP services. WellShare educated more than 260,000 people about family planning through health talks, outreaches, film shows, radio programs, and district-wide events.

Report

This report presents evidence illustrating the role that WORTH, a women’s empowerment program centered on village banking, has played in The Salvation Army’s “Sustainable Community Support for Orphans and Vulnerable Children” project in Uganda (known as the “TSA OVC” project). The aim of the project, funded by PEPFAR, was to improve the welfare of OVC affected by HIV/AIDS.
