IRC reinforces Ebola virus disease (EVD) prevention, epidemiological surveillance and response capabilities, especially at the community level and within rapid response teams in the Tonkpi, Cavally and Gboklé-Nawa-San Pedro health regions in western, southwestern and northwestern Côte d’Ivoire. The proposed intervention will maintain, and even reinforce, the current level of EVD prevention and response with the overall objective of improving EVD prevention, epidemiological surveillance and response capacity through ongoing and strengthened management and coordination of those activities in the western, southwestern and northwestern border regions of Côte d’Ivoire.
