Population Health And Environment: Changing The Story Of Communities Within The Greater Amanzule Wetland Area in Ghana

Explore the story and lessons learned from the PHE project, Integrating Health and Family Planning into Greater Amanzule Wetland (GAW) Landscape Conservation and Small Scale Fisheries Management in the Western Region of Ghana. This project was aimed at creating awareness and interest for PHE approaches to show benefits of improved health and environment outcomes, establishing and strengthening community-based distribution systems for contraceptives and building strong partnerships between government, private sector and other NGO actors to serve as model for sustaining future PHE interventions in the coastal areas of the Western region of Ghana.
