The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International

The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. During the past 100 years, the Foundation has spent $3 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. Our 35,000 clubs carry out sustainable service projects that support our six causes. With donations like yours, we’ve wiped out 99.9 percent of all polio cases. Your donation also trains future peacemakers, supports clean water, and strengthens local economies.

Community Health Matters Focus Area:

The Rotary Foundation implements long-term, sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene projects in the developing world in order to improve community health. Through the Rotary/USAID International H2O Collaboration alliance, significant progress will be made in achieving the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) targets in water supply and sanitation, and in improving hygiene, all within the context of sustainable use of our planet's increasingly scarce freshwater resources. This alliance will help USAID in its efforts to meet the goals of the 2014 Paul Simon Water for the World Act, which specifically cites public-private partnerships as a core approach to achieving the goals of this act.
