World Education improves the quality of life through education for half a million children and adults in 22 countries. World Education's training programs improve adult education, help displaced peoples, stem the tide of HIV, and reduce violence through conflict resolution. Community Health Matters Focus Area:

World Education over the past twenty years has improved emergency medical care, vocational opportunities, and the economic status of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) accident survivors and people with disabilities in UXO impacted provinces in Laos. The Lao TEAM Project will combine World Education’s successful experience in assisting Lao UXO survivors and people with disabilities with WEI’s understanding of how to manage sub-grants, to build the capacity of local organizations, and to coordinate local and international organizations working for the same purpose.
