Ebola

Report

This report gives an overview of APC's Post-Ebola Rebuilding Health Services project. This two-year project strengthened primary and community health services in Sierra Leone, improving health services for 2 million Sierra Leoneans in areas that were severely affected by the Ebola virus disease outbreak.

In April 2016, the Government of Sierra Leone launched a post-Ebola recovery plan with USAID support, which involved rehabilitating more than 100 peripheral health units in five priority districts through the Advancing Partners & Communities project.

Toolkit

This toolkit is a resource for organizations and individuals involved in recovery efforts in the period following an infectious disease outbreak, such as the Ebola virus disease (EVD) outbreak in West Africa in 2014-2016. Its goal is to provide governments, donors, NGOs, and survivor groups with guidance and templates for responding to issues related to health systems recovery after a major outbreak.
